WHY Education
Education is the foundation for addressing critical issues such as healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, and human rights. It equips children with the knowledge and skills needed to build a secure future while fostering their growth as responsible national and global citizens.
Despite the introduction of the Right to Education (RTE) Act in 2010, which made education free and compulsory for children aged 6-14 years, many children in our country continue to face barriers to learning. Socio-economic challenges, inadequate resources, and a lack of quality education hinder their ability to access and benefit from this fundamental right.
At BarachKahi Foundation, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to bring lasting change. By focusing on the holistic development of children, we aim to bridge the gap and create opportunities for a brighter tomorrow.
WHAT WE DO

- Access to formal and non-formal education for children aged 3-18 years.
- Learning support for children from economically weaker sections, marginalized communities, and tribal belts.

- Ensuring children have access to nutritious meals that support their physical and cognitive development.
- Conducting regular health check-ups and wellness initiatives to promote a healthy learning environment.
- 3) Inclusive Learning Opportunities
- Special programs for differently-abled children, abandoned children, and those living in disaster-hit areas.
- Bridging the education gap for children in remote villages and hard-to-reach areas.
- 4) Alignment with National Goals
- Our initiatives are aligned with the New Education Policy (2020) and the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
